Breadcrumbz ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at breadcrumbz.co.uk and provides online preparation courses for UK university admissions tests including the TMUA and ESAT.

• Payment information: payment details are processed by our payment provider (Dodo Payments). We receive confirmation of payment status and a payment reference ID — we do not store your card details.
• Lead capture: email address, course interest, and source when you download a free resource (e.g. diagnostic test, prep handbook).
• Usage data: lesson progress, practice question attempts, Elo ratings per topic, and session activity.
• Analytics: anonymised page-view and interaction data collected by Vercel Analytics.

• To create and manage your account and grant access to purchased courses.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. account setup, purchase confirmations) via Resend.
• To send marketing emails (e.g. study tips, offers) if you opt in, via MailerLite. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To track your learning progress and power the adaptive practice engine.
• To improve our platform and content based on aggregate usage patterns.

We use the following third-party services to operate Breadcrumbz:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Dodo Payments — payment processing
• Resend — transactional emails
• MailerLite — marketing emails
• Vercel — hosting and analytics
• Bunny.net — video content delivery

Each provider processes your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

• Authentication: session cookies managed by Supabase to keep you logged in.
• Preferences: a local storage value to remember your theme (light/dark mode).
• Free trial tracking: a cookie to count the number of free practice questions used.

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We retain your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
